How Jen Can Help

If you're suffering from personal or professional stress, eat a poor diet, or live a busy or overdriven lifestyle, Jen can help. Aromatherapy and reflexology relieve stress and tension, improve circulation, and help to advance your physical, mental, and emotional health.

Aromatherapy, in particular, can help with everything from emotional problems — such as stress, insomnia, depression, or anxiety — to physical complaints as varied as skin conditions, colds and coughs, menstrual and menopausal issues, and arthritis.

In general, it's best to call Jen and discuss your condition. She can determine what's best for you to adapt a course of treatment to your body.

Relieve stress and tension, improve circulationWho Shouldn't Get Aromatherapy?
Reflexology is safe for everyone, but there are certain people who must not receive aromatherapy massage — for example, children under 13, cancer patients, women who are pregnant for the first time, or people who have very recently undergone invasive surgery.

However, some at-home remedies can still be safe for these clients. Ask Jen for more details.

Please note that Jen will NEVER diagnose a condition, prescribe medication, work in opposition to medical or other fields, or suggest that you stop taking prescription medications. If this is what you need, please see your health care practitioner.

If you're unsure, contact Jen and she will answer your questions.

A Warning About "Aromatherapy" Products
Many retail outlets, including health food stores and even bulk food stores and supermarkets, sell "aromatherapy" products.

Some of these are harmless, like shampoos and dishwashing liquids that are said to offer aromatherapy benefits. These products won't hurt you, but they usually won't help you either. Often they contain only fragrances — not actual essential oils. The chief benefit of the "aromatherapy" ingredients in these products is usually an advertising or marketing one.

However, you can now buy "essential oils" in many retail venues — and these could pose a danger. These are almost always of inferior quality, and pose a health threat to the untrained consumer. Some essential oils can make drinking a glass of wine or spending an afternoon in the sun uncomfortable. Others should never be used if you even suspect you may be pregnant. Still others can't be used if you suffer from high blood pressure.

Trust a Certified Aromatherapist
Jen is a certified aromatherapist, schooled in the physical effects of essential oils. She uses only medical-grade essential oils and is trained to make sure they won't hurt you.

You wouldn't prescribe yourself drugs — you'd go to a doctor. Don't make the same mistake with essential oils.
